4th of the 4th

A quick and simple tag.
Go to your My Pictures folder and open the 4th folder and post the 4th picture.
Explain it.

Let me say this....This is our typical Clark. He's doing everything he loves best (well almost); he's in his jammies (which he would wear all day if I would let him), with his lovie and daddy bear, in mommy and daddy's bed watching Thomas the Train.

Too bad I had to put him in his bed to sleep, I sure do love having my little cuddle bug in bed with me! Daddy says its a No-No for Clarke to sleep in our bad. Which has always been a good rule, I guess. That's what mornings are good for though! Toony's, a good cup of joe and time with little man!!!

Daddy come home and cuddle with us soon!! We'll make room in the bed just for you.

Yeah, Yeah I'm Getting Behind

Clark's dinner Friday night....
His first Mini Hamburger, Fried Squash (which he LOVED) and fried potatoes

you can find a pot of Boiled Peanuts at our house just about every weekend!

Uncle Tim trying to teach Clarke how to count.
He did get ZERO!!!

To make my allergies worse my cousin and I took the kids to the Pumpkin Patch at Aplin Farms and to the Sunflower field...They had a blast, but what was I thinking. I paid for it on Sunday,

Isn't my baby beautiful in a field of Wild Flowers?

I apologize for going so long between blogs. Clark and I have a rough few days. I started getting a cold early last week and progressively got worse as the weekend went along. I am almost positive that I either have the Crupe or Bronchitis. I tried to just relax this weekend, but you'll see that this isn't possible at my house.

Clark and I started off our weekend on Friday. We slept in (ie, stayed in bed just snuggling past 8 a.m.), had breakfast, snuggled on the couch and watched toony's, had a snack, had lunch, and took a 3 1/2 hour nap together. After my mom got home at 3 I went back to sleep for another 2 hours. Dinner at 6, bath at 8 and Clark and I were in bed by 9 p.m.

Saturday was one of the hardest days of my entire life. I woke up having one of those days, wishing I could just pretend that things never ended the way they did. At 10 a.m. I walked through the doors of Covenant United Methodist church with my cousin on one side of me and my friend Carly on the other. We were there to say goodbye to April Elaine Kirby-Phillips one of the greatest friends we've ever had. Our friend Kelli joined us a little later and we all 4 walked back into the Sanctuary and for once in over 13 years we were a circle of 5. We decided that we all felt complete despite the circumstances. Please continue to pray for April's parents, her siblings and lastly her children Grayson and Riley.

In the afternoon we went out to Aplin's and enjoyed just spending time together. I felt worse as the day went on but I hung in there for little man. We had a great time and I know that it's a trip worth making again next year. If you have children you should take a trip out to the farm. It's well worth the time. Check out Aplin Farms website for more info.

We skipped church on Sunday and spent the day cleaning and then sleeping for a very long time.
It was much needed rest.

Today is Tuesday, Clark now has the crud that I've had. I'm taking him to the pediatrician again tommorrow. We were just there last week for our Well-Baby. We've not slept in 2 nights and we're both missing the Hubs like crazy. Since I didnt get ANYTHING accomplished last week that needed to be done I going to attempt again tommorrow and Friday...Like getting my test done. Pray I pass!

I must go. its 10:41 Clark is still awake and keeps running in and out of my parents bedroom because he wants to sleep with Bobo. Too bad their beds not big enough for 3 people. i'd say yes in a minute and sleep the night away like a baby!

Goodnight Sleep Tight Dont Let the Bed Bugs Bite!

Prayers Would Be Appreciated.

I found out early this morning that April, one my dearest childhood friends (and still a good friend) was found murdered under a bridge in San Antonio on October 10th. She, her husband and their 3 children are stationed there with the Military. I don't know much as far as details go because there are still some conflicts in the evidence/information. I would ask that you please keep April's husband, her children Grayson, Riley and Kiara and her other family members in your prayers. Also please continue to pray for law enforcement officials as they dig deeper into the case.

I'm going in head first and going to try to come home with some hair left on my head.
Clark was up at 6 a.m. ready to rock and roll.
I can't seem to catch the hubs online to let him know that

But here we go...we're out the door in 30 minutes or less!

Good Night, Sleep Tight, Don't Let the Bed Bugs Bite!

This is going to be short and sweet. Its 11:48 p.m. and well past my bed time. Juat a little thought to pass a long. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed tonight as I prepare myself mentally for what tomorrow has in store.

* I've got 2 BIG test to study for (both test are thursday morning),
* Finish the choreography for "Baby's Got Her Blue Jeans On" (i have to finish the dance on Thursday at 5:00 p.m.),
* I have a follow up appointment with Dr. Zacks to check my Cholesterol and Blood Pressure,
* Clark has his 2 year Well-Baby Appointment with Dr. Head,
* I need to go to Weezers and pick up Thank You Notes
* I need to go by Darby's and pick up Clarke's shirts (and pay!!!)
* I need to hit Wal-Mart and the Post Office (Sending the hubs 2 packages)
* I have to get the Oil Changed at the Kid Dealership too because they could not seem to get it right when I was there on Saturday....

UGH so much to do and so little time to get it all done in. Who in their right mind takes a Fall break from "Mothers Morning Out"? I love spending time with my little fella, but it just seems like there is WAY too much to get done the one week we do have to spend together!!!

I dreamed of Alligators last night. No blood just lots of bruises on the backs of my legs. My cousin Jonathan rescued me. Wonder what this means? Any ideas?

I made Darby's Frosted Banana Bars on Saturday night and they were a huge hit and oh so easy to make. Let me know what you think if you try them too.

Tuesday Nights Kids Eat Free at Mexican Connection....You Should Do it...I Did!

I'm out. It's now 12:01 a.m.

OH YEAH MY BLOG IS GETTING PIMPED. SHOULD HAVE MY NEW LOOK BEFORE THE WEEKEND. I BET YOU'LL LIKE IT JUST A LITTLE...OR WELL I HOPE SO!

CIAO BELLA'S!

Catching Up Is Hard to Do!!!

Clark and Anna during 1/2 time

Clark and Tim-Tim taking a break.

Our little peeping tom. Aunt Jackie was trying to take a bath

Clarke with his Knights from Smitty and Aunt J.

What a weekend we had!! We are playing catch up on our rest and list of things to do. I was shocked this morning when I rolled over and looked at the clock and it said 8:45. My sweet baby boy normally doesn't sleep past 7 a.m. I let him sleep out on the sofa bed with me last night and we both slept like champs. My favorite Aunt from Maryland is here visiting for a few days and I was nice enough to give up my bed for her! She said she slept like a rock last night too!

Today and the rest of this week have just been a typical routine for us. Same ole, Same ole, Preschool, College, Dance Studio, being a Mommy and playing house with Grammie and Bobo!
We're missing the Hubs a lot this week. It's been pretty rainy weather and its those days that we just want to curl up on the couch with him and just cuddle with a good movie. Of course we miss him everyday, but more some days! Grammy took all of us to lunch today (Me, Clark, Jack-Jack and Nellie) at Mama Rosa's and boy was it good. Once we were stuffed we headed over to the mall for a SHORT trip so I could spend my Gymbobucks! After the mall we headed over to Clark's favorite store...Wal-Mart. Again, it was a short trip because the weather was so nasty all afternoon. We joke and tell Jack-Jack every time she comes to visit she brings the bad weather with her.

Tomorrow Clark will be seeing the firetrucks at school and it's all he's talked about tonight. He cried before bed because he wanted the "twucks". I guess I should have waited until tomorrow to tell him. Lesson Learned!!! He's in bed now and not sleeping very good at all. I hope that this isn't a sign of how our entire night is going to be. Last night must have been too good to be true.

Side Note: The Special Steppers Classes (2) have started at Kelly School of Dance and I'm hoping that I can do a blog tomorrow night with photos of the students. I am so excited to be a part of their lives. It is such a blessing to me to be teaching them each week. They are so special to me and just make my whole week! Until you've worked with students with special needs you will never know the joy they can bring into your life! If any of you out there may be interested or know of another individual or buisness that may be interested in Sponsoring a Special Stepper please let me know. We are currently looking for sponsors for our 15 dancers.

Come back tomorrow for a closer look at the Special Steppers from TAPS, Inc.

WE LOVE and MISS YOU BREEZY BABY!!!

Just Another Week of Crazy

Clark in his Coupe!!
*bought this with his birthday money!*

The hubs parents bought us this for our new car
but it just came in. It was custom made.

Clark's first 2 Year Old Haircut!
Aunt Rexy over at StrungOut Salon and Boutique did a GREAT job!

Isn't he handsome...and innocent too :-)

Me and My Dirty boy at his birthday party last Saturday
Hi Friends!
Just another one of our crazy weeks has come and gone. The less I think about the hubs being deployed the faster the days go by. I've stopped counting each day that goes by and that seems to make it a little easier as well.
Clark and I both had a very busy week; between Preschool, College, teaching at the Studio, catching up on last weeks errands and resting up from our busy birthday weekend with Mema, Papa and Aunt Bug.
We went over to the KidsMarket at Northside Mall on Friday and I found a couple of good buys. I bought a brand new (with tags) pair of Real Tree Advantage (camo for you non-hunters) cargo pants for 5.00, brand new (with tags) Children's Place overalls for 7.00 and lastly a pair of brand new (with tags) Old Navy sweat pants for 3.00. there were TONS of little smocked boutique outfits that I just thought I had to have, but for the sake of the hubs I refrained. He told me Clark was not allowed to wear them anymore. UGH!!!!! (Love You Babe!) I am going to head back over there today around 2:30 with my mom to see what we can find that has been marked down to 1/2 price!!!

On A Side Note: Tonight I'm gonna watch some Auburn Football have some pizza with some of my family. War Eagle!!!
